The famous Bangrak Beach is a 4km stretch of fine, white sand beach around Bangrak Bay. The beach offers stunning views of the bay towards the neighboring island of Koh Phangan. This beach is relatively quiet compared to other beaches in the area.
Halfway between the traditional Fisherman’s Village and the bustling Chaweng Beach, Bangrak enjoys an ideal location north of the island 5 minutes from the international airport of Koh Samui. There are also three small piers with modern speedboats to bring you to Koh Phangan or Koh Tao islands and giving you the opportunity to discover those wonderful places.
In order to immerse yourself in the local culture of Bangrak we advise you to visit the Golden Big Buddha temple, if you like the local markets and the fish there you will find a traditional fish market.
